Though I've only been teaching for nine years, I feel like I've been in the field forever! I started coaching competitive gymnastics at 16 years old and kept coaching through my first few years of teaching.

I'm pretty sure all that gymnastics coaching definitely inspired my love of hands-on, full body learning. The transition from Kinder to Grade 1 can be quite challenging for our little learners and integrating movement and outdoor learning helps students make the transition more easily!

I completed my Masters of Education with a focus on English language learner inclusion in French immersion. I love trying out new ideas to engage multilingual learners and bust myths surrounding ELLs in French immersion. I can't wait to chat with you about your experiences in this field!
